Is it worthwhile to get a bowl level for a video tripod while shooting skiing? I think a lot of times you will be on a pretty sloped area and I think a 75mm bowl can only adjust by 15 degrees. Right now I have a 3lb carbon fiber Induro tripod and 701HDV head and I have to adjust the legs individually to level. I have a Canon 7D and I carry all my gear with a Burton Zoom backpack.
Do you think it's worth adding 3-6lbs and double the folded size in order to have a level bowl for shooting skiing? I do a lot of hiking as well.
