who cares? and i'm surprised people like it as much as they do to be perfectly honest. it doesn't exhibit any sort of my musical capability besides getting lucky while spinning a set and thinking it would sound cool if i mashed those 2 songs together and then throwing them into logic and adding a few glitchy fills/some basic sampling. but for those who like that kind of stuff good for them and i'm glad i could make something they enjoy.
no trust me, I fully understand. Its just funny that people take double drops as novel, new songs haha
When its part of a DJ set, I dig that shit for sure. I really didn't mean anything by it. The thread wasn't even about that. I thought you were expecting haters on the track, you know, I just got confused. I do try to be a good person to everyone, don't worry :)
this is true, i wish people would start listening to quality music before they listen to electro so they could understand where all this amazing stuff originates from. Although i might market myself as a DJ, I originally started as a pianist and playing drums...my favorite type of music is jamband by far, with jazz/latin at a close second. with that said i love it all and i will continue to make music and be nice to everybody i meet.
fo sho, that includes hiphop as well...people don't understand that hiphop came from funk and that funk came from jazz and blues...it' sickening to see the underappreciation of earlier forms of music that led up to where music is today just because it isn't "cool".
