be comfortable riding, landing and taking off switch. Practice doing sw 1's to get the feeling. Sw 3's are nice because ou see the landing the entire time. When you come off the lip make sure you pop, and then start the spin. Since you're looking over your shoulder it's really easy to start the spin early and drag your tips, costing you speed and possibly balance.
But it's a really easy and fun trick. After a couple tries you should have it down no problem.
Okay. So you can over rotate it and under rotate it... Why are you asking how to do one? Clearly you can. Just because you can't land it right the first few times doesn't mean you need advice. It's called practice. Don't be so hard on yourself bro.
my only advice would be when you reach 270, keep going. it took my a little while to break that habbit, i would reach 270 and freeze up, land sideways and washout to switch.
My natural spinnign side is left so while spinning I know I should look over my left shouder but as I approach the kicker should I look over my right or left shoulder, for switch 180s I look left but I don't think I'd get enough rotation that way.
I find that I swing my arms a lot more when I switch 3. It's a lot more difficult to wind up going switch as opposed to regular. Put your arms out then bring them in when you're in the air.
