Is their gonna be one? I know that Half Life 2 is coming out sometime later this year. And the makers would be fools to not make a new CS. Anyone have any news?

they don't need to. they put out new patches all the time to make it better and better, and also people keep making more and more maps, so its chill. you don't need to

COUNTER-STRIKE 2 should be out in december pending the release of hl2(september). check out e3 coverage of hl2, they have previews of cs2. it is coming. just be patient and play more CS!

i've played the CS2 beta at this lan party thing. its incredible. you have to have an awesome computer for good gameplay though. its the most realistic thing ever.

Ive never really played CS. Ive seen other people play it and I know what a phenomina of a game its been. So Im looking forward to CS2 to start playing.

Cs never really appealed to me, but I loved Unreal Tournament for a while. I guess I just sucked at CS and kept dying or soemthing. It was just really annoying.

You can already play CS with the hl2 engine, it looks really awesome.

When HL2 comes out, CS will supposedly just install as a mod into that, obviously with updated player models and maps

counterstrike: condition zero just came out like 2 months ago and its amazing, i dont have it right now, but i played it a friends house, its amazing, but no one plays cause they dont wanna switch to a new game and learn it. but yeah its pretty sweet

I like team Fortress classic. It has the right level of goriness and the right level of realisticness. I'm also better at that then at counterstike

i wonder if my spray tag still works.....if anybody ever played against people in the GPK (garbage pail kids) clan that was me and my friends. we weren't good or anything, but one day we found a bunch of old garbage pail kids cards, and thought it would be cool to have them as tags in CS, and so it began.
