I need some advice +K for help

Okay so i was looking at these ninthward THA 187 powder ski i am not the best powder skier and have not owned a pair of powder skis in my life so my questions here is are these a good place to start? Anything bad about them? i am about 5'8 140 would these things be to big for me? i go to school at the univ of montana and i want a powder ski to ride so any help/input would be great thanks everyone!

183 will be approaching the bigger side of the spectrum. but its always better to go bigger than smaller

Rockered pow skis are more fun than non-rockered pow skis.

Yes. Had my first day on rockered pow skis a couple of days ago (This years Sir Francis Bacons) And they were extremely fun. I Loved them.

you should get a ski with rocker, it makes skiing powder a lot easier and fun. you can hit things in the POW that you can't do with your park skis because you wont float. I have the k2 hellbents and they are one of the best POW skis that i have ever skied, they are garbage on the groomers but again thats not what they are meant for. You can always go demo some rockerd Pow skis and or reverse camber skiks like the Hellbents on a Pow day. hope this helped

Yeah thanks for the help everyone but the thing is i can pick these up for about 300. Is it worth spending the extra 2-3 hundred?

If your gonna be spending most of your time in the pow, it will be worth it to pay the extra money to get rockered skis, just my 2 cents.

The NGPs are stttiiiiffff, while the Rorys are stiff, size wise, I think the Rorys will fit you better. Dont listen to all these people saying go rocker, yea it may be a little more fun, but nothing charges like like a nice pair of stiff traditional camber skis.
