hi ns im starting to ski and im pretty good for only skiing one day. i can 270 on and off and i was wondering what kind of binding i should get for park. i dont want to spend too much. i am 5'7" and 118 pounds if that helps. thanks
this, and any bindings pretty much except tele, probably look for a din anywhere from 5-12, marker jesters are good as well as there free, and then rossi makes the fks, and salomon makes descent bindings which is questionable, but yeahh anything will do
my first day park skiing was spent falling and busting my ass on the simpliest thing in the park. if you 270 on/off already, i predict you should be doing cork 10's by the end of the month. hahaha.
k+ dude thanks. and also Jayleysh idk i mean i ride with a bunch of skiers that are good. i like hiked the park all day and i got it at the end of the day. and no wayyy about the cork 10's aha. i am kind of a pussy on big jumps but im not scared to go inverted. and k+ to u also
im starting to ski too, im switching over from snowboarding part time, I found like a whole setup for like a 100 dollars on ebay. I got some marker M26 bindings for 28 bucks total. Try ebay they have some sick stuff that you can get for extremely cheap
Well about ski bindings: I have Sth 12's now with the drivertoe and they're super solid. Little pricey but they will sure as fuck last. Them or griffons or px12's. But the sth's are rocks
The price of your binding is really going to depend on 2 things. The construction (metal or plastic) and the DIN range (higher = more $$). If you're going to be lapping the park I'd say watch the Sell/Trade forum and also maybe post a WTB thread in the Quicklinks --> Want to Buy forum. Used bindings won't always be in great shape cosmetically, but will usually perform like new. For the type of binding to get, check out the stickied "What Binding" thread at the top of Gear Talk.
