Replying to Picture album threads?

hey i just got a good idea that may make the site more efficient.

you know how in many threads such as the '2010 jiberish thread' and the '2011/2012 outerwear thread' nsers are mostly looking for pictures and dont like scrolling through pages of comment to find the picture they were looking for. and sometime end up asking to see a picture of something that was already posted.

well i had an idea to make "picture threads" that are set up more as an open picture album with a title and creator

however there would be a comment section similar to the one at the bottom of a nsers own private picture, both at the bottom of the album and under each picture, so users could still discuss what they wanted to say

these albums could be controlled by the mods like a normal thread or by the creator of the album itself, to delete things like troll pictures and repost pictures

overall i feel that threads like these would be much easier for nsers to find pictures that they were looking for and easier for people to discuss pictures without quoting the same picture over and over and cluttering the thread

what do you guys think?
