180 Ski trick

When you do a 180 do you put your head looking at the ground beside your shoulder or do you look over your shoulder?

if you spot the ground beside you, rather than the landing, then you will spin weirdly
Look over your shoulder/look where you want to go/lead with your shoulders and your skis should follow
and again, use the searchbar because there is probably a thread about this already. or search google.

Actually the reason i posted this was to see what most people did wasn tlooking for tips.
See my freestyle instructer told me to look at the ground where my shoulder was and not to look over the shoulder unless if u wanted to do a 360. I taught people had a preferance to where they looked while doing the 180 so i did this thread.

i just go off the jump and spin however hard the trick requires and hope i land it. no looking at landings or ground, just straight up hucking tricks

its a 180 so usualy im getting my dick sucked and eating an ice cream cone and still land it its not that hard so why does it matter

Steezy blunt 1's are one of my go to tricks. Who cares if you want to do 1's? Everything doesn't have to be some hucked cork

this is fuckin rediculous. you dont even habve to look over your shouldter to 180 you can just look foreward the whole way through. quit over thinking it, its a fucking 180./

OP, there's a really simple answer to this. a 180 isnt a spin. its just a shift in the position of your legs. your eyes should stay on the landing the entire time. if you're doing it on flat ground that pretty much means you're looking down sometimes, but i wouldn't say you look around your shoulder. thats more for spins. ie. 3s upwards.

another way of explaining it is that if you 360 to the left then you 180 to the right. in both tricks you look over your left shoulder. think about it.

blunt is when you grab the tail of your ski with the same hand as the foot is but not the tip of it right?

set it a little bit, lean forward in your boots so you don't go ass mountain when you land, pop, spin look at the landing, then land.

What is this "180" you speak of?  The smallest rotation I know is a cork 9.
