I want some entertainment, so I figured why not create a thread where people can post some funny stories for everyone to enjoy? They can be about anything; skiing or non skiing related, embarrassinig, or even just plain retarded. I'll start:
Last weekend I was skiing at Springhill and it was a bitter cold day out (-22C with a 18km/h wind; springhil is on the side of the Winnipeg floodway so there's no trees to buffer the windchill.) and I was coming in to warm up and put on my jacket. when I looked down, I noticed my season pass was missing!
I started panicking a little, asking people if they've seen it. Unable to locate it, I drag my way back to the table my friends were at. I asked one of the local pros Kirby if he's seen it and says he hasn't, and that it sucks you lost it. Then one of the guys said "dude.." and pointed to my back. Turns out I hooked it up to one of my jacket's hooks in the back! the whole group + me got a good laugh out of it.
