hahahaha the US generally has no clue what anyone else thinks about it or it just doesn't care. Canada is definitely the country that worries about itself.
good state colleges are borderline impossible to get in? not at all, im at the #1 research institution on full scholarship not paying for shit. While overall prices ARE very high, if you work you can get scholarships that knock almost all of this out.
Fuck Alberta oil... it costs more to get it out of the ground than what you actually get... We'll take Banff and the areas in the mountains, but thats all.
We have alaska, and massive reserves off the southern california coastline. We're solid. The end. Cascadia rules.
you are ignorant b/c you think simply b/c you are a Canadian you word is sacrosanct and therefore you and your country are exempt from all judgment, but in reality you just have an inferiority complex and channel all of your frustration about America's lack of knowledge for its neighbor into pointless truisms and sweeping generalizations as we saw above in the thread. however, the kid you were quoting sounded like a complete tard.
at least america doesnt use a unit of mass to measure their weight. so elementary. you noobs with your SI system need to get your shit together and learn to use Newtons.
This thread has consisted of Americans giving an example of why the U.S. kicks ass, then Canadians quickly retort on why Canada is better than the U.S.
You can make any argument you want for both sides, but the U.S. is a sweet fuckin' place. We cover the best latitudes. Yea the federal government sucks a dick, we are well aware of that and have been since day one, but that doesn't change the fact that the states kick ass. That is why the Chinese word for America means "beautiful land." It's a diverse place with diverse people and we are not perfect, haters gonna hate.
so does Canada, but as people have been saying this thread is not going to go anywhere from here. I like Canada and the States and I have lived in both, which should be necessary for anyone to make a legitimate statement concerning either country.
