K2 hellbent 2011

Hi guys, i have a question. I looking for some skis and i wonder about hellbent. But 132 its alot i think, because i will not skiing in one meter of pow often you know...Will i use soo big waist in when will not soo much pow..??

Yes, those will be too wide. Maybe last years or the year before's you could get away with but this year's Hellbents are way too fat to ski groomers on. Try something that has rocker and handles in pow but still has traditional camber. Like the Surface OneLife.

try the on3p caylor. 120 underfoot, large amounts of rocker with some camber underfoot, and stiff enough that they can handle pretty much anything

This guy is from the Czech Rep, so he's unlikely to be ordering in Surface or ON3P..

To answer your question, my NS friend from poland enjoys his 2011 Hellbents on the groomers and all over the mountain. In poland the conditions there are apparently worse than the Czech Rep so I don't think they will be unskiable when you don't have the best snow. I had a great time last season when I skied EP Pros as my daily ski. I'm not saying they'll be the best ski when the snow isn't there, and personally I would go narrower, but if you enjoy really fat skis and can get a good deal, I think you'll have fun.

Def try to demo any Hellbents. If you like the feel of them don't think any longer - buy them. I have done the same and love my Hells. They're 132 but you don't feel that. I ski in Poland - we have even less snow than Czech. And as Twig said I really enjoy them. On groomers they are much better than my Revivals, if there is any soft snow they absoltuly kill it. It doesn't matter if it is park, backcountry, groomers, trees. It is the best ski I have ridden. I'm the kind of surfy, messing around skier so Hells suits me, but if you like charging, straightling look for something stiffer with less rocker - Bentchetlers, Obsetheds maybe.

Among all the fat skis I have, the best so far are 2011 K2 Hellbent (1,79m). A little bit stiffer in 2011. Better! Great on groomer this year. Let's say that until today in Quebec City it's dry icy & hard pack. No more than 4 feet of snow came from the clouds this season so far.

These skis are my daily skis. I didn't thought that but now its the first choice!
In pow I have fatYpus Alotta (140mm in the middle, soft), Volkl Kuro (missing some sidecut at the tail but middle stiffness), Atomic BenChetler (too soft for hardpack) and so on.

Comments by a lady over 40 and 150 pounds.

You can find brand new these 2011 skis at 475$us and 500$Can right now on Craigslist!

yea guys, thanx. I was looking on obsethed 011 and they are so sick too. But hellbents are hellbents.I loved them at first sight :D . But when will no snow i have at home one skis with 90mm when wil hard snow, and hb i will use for pow days..(i saw them in park and they looks sooo pretty in air!)
