I'm visiting the 22'nd to the 26'th. I'll be checking out Westminster and the U and skiing alta for a day. Could you reccomend me some things to do, places to check out, and places to eat? +k for help

you could visit temple square...id suggest to you where that is, but i have lived here for over a year and still havent gone...as for food. as dbrown suggested tucanos is key. utah isnt really the home of many food places. i hear the taco stands down town are great too

I would add the microbrew root beer and the half-baked cookie desert to that list. Otherwise, yea, the pie sucks.

If you are skiing alta, go to Lonestar cafe on Fort Union Boulevard. Get some fish tacos. the fish tacos are real good.

lonestar for sure. one of the best places i have eaten out here.

i would hit up the blue plate too if your trying to get a good breakfast or lunch. its 2100e 2100s cant miss it.

five guys is garbage, in n' out is garbage. if you want a decent burger in utah go to crown burger or apollo burger, both are pretty damn good. i also suggest iceburg, get a burger and a shake, they have the most amazing shakes in utah. why would you go to some chain fast food crap when you want to sample local hot spots?

red iguana is awesome, the pie sucks. i suggest wing stop if you want to get some wings and a beer. also try wasatch brewery up in park city or squatters brewery in downtown for some good brews.

restaurant morelia on state street is also very good mexican.

i also love market street grill up by old mill for breakfast, they are very overpriced for dinner though.

if you want BBQ, famous daves is pretty good.

i'm sure i've got a million other suggestions i cant remember right now. im not to up on the nightlife in salt lake anymore, im more of a bar hopper than a club type of guy.
