Im goin to aspen spring break. I went last year and i have ar6s and i found out that i truly love powder/cliff skiing a ton more than park. My ar6s are not working very well for powder. I have a max 450$ budget and im looking a for a wide all mountain ski. That floats powder and is soft but can also shred groomers. HELP ME

Kung Fujas sound like they'd suit you well. There pretty soft and reasonably wide.

thanks for the idea but i hate k2 lol ive had too many shitty skis from them . I was thnking more along the lines of armada jjs or line blends.

Dude just demo some mad sick pow skis for the time you're there... no sense buying wide all-mountain skis.

1. Wide skis won't do shit in deep CO pow.
2. It's only spring break, stuck with skis for a long time...
3. Demoing is cheeper.
4. Pow skis are way better than wide all-mountain skis.

It is tough to find a super capable ski in that price range....you most likely will need to get some used ones or possibly demo skis. Hit up your local shop and see if they have any demo skis for sale.  Ar6 are wicked good skis that can handle a remarkable variety of conditions....don't underestimate them....or overestimate your skills...

i reckon if you went with the JJs you wouldnt regret it, but i dont know if youll find them for that price maybe an older model. Ive only heard good things of the jj. i would of got them if i had the money. or i got ninthward rory silvas from www.levelninesports.com and they were 400 with bindings, they look pretty sick!

Buy them, if you buddy is mad its hes problem man. I have JJ and my friend gotnsome and we are stoke to ski the same line whit the same ski. Buy the ski you want. Sorry for my english

aight thanks. ive rly narrowed it down to jjs are blends. would i be a able to fly on groomers with the jjs and would i even think about doin alittle park with them

JJ's are a pow ski. Fine for a bit of groomers. No good for park.

To be super honest I'm huge on pow skis and don't think any wide all-mountain ski is going to float "effortlessly". Just lean way back. Not sure on the blends, I've heard good things about the Bacons though.

Just saw that you ride Alpine and Devils Head... Dude I gotta be honest, buying a wide ski is going to be a waste of money unless you plan on moving out west or riding here more than a week.

Just demo some pow skis when you're out here. You're planning on buying a wide pair of skis for this trip and you're not even guaranteed powder.

Just my two cents...
