i currently own a 7D but i am only using iMovie right now to edit the videos that I use. I will be able to get a hold of FCP7 or FCP in a few months when I go home for the summer where I plan to capture a lot of video.
I was wondering how some videos; i.e. on vimeo and even some here on NS, are so clear and rich in color? is that due to a specific codec during rendering? what exactly is this h264 (i think) codec that I hear a lot about. I know lots of these videos use SLR's but some also use the HVX and higher end video cameras, thanks!
