CANON 7D vs. CANON 60D vs. CANON T2i

i want a camera to do 60% video, and 40% photos.. so photography is important but video is even more important (i film edits).

i'm debating whether i want to spend a lot of money on the 7D and have no money left to put towards attachment (fisheye, external handle, external flash/lights, etc) or if i should get the 60D or T2i and deck it out.

i want to know what you feel i should do, and if you had any past experiences with either of these three cameras.

you need to do waaay more research before making such a big purchase.

the T2i and 60D also shoot 720p60p, that's why nobody has said that. for video, T2i and 60D trump the 7D, especially given the price. really the ONLY advantage the 7D has as far as video goes is its more durable body. if that's worth $700 more (it shouldn't be), then go for it.

You can also do that with the 60d and the 550d

The 7D is more weather proof and sturdy, but has less available features than the T2i and 60D. The 60D has the articulating screen, which is super nice. The T2i has the best magic lantern/firmware hack of all DSLR's in my opinion. It gives you manual audio with visible audio levels, intervolometer, HDR recording, etc.
Apparently the 7D is really hard to hack and put these ugrades into. The problem with Canon is they are not doing the firmware updates that are necessary, so third party people have been. It is frustrating that a simple software upgrade will add these needed features, but Canon will not do them. The Panasonic GH2 is another still based camera that is making waves.
 few things to think about. The cameras are very cool.
