i asked my friend who has this camera and she helped me, i hit the button on the top, on the right of the info button and set it at F7.1 and 1/10 and you said set the bottom number high? but that just makes the picture black? heres some pics my sister took of me on my sled...
this is what i mean by blurry and dark,
what does F mean? and yes, but when i make the shutter speed really high it just goes black...
im getting the DVD for this camera tommorrow from a friend so ill watch that, and ill do that, i wanted to take digital photo at school, but the teacher is retarded and says you have to take art, then film for 2 years, then you can do digital photo haha
also, for continuos shooting, i set my release mode to continuous, but it still is taking a single shot, and has a slow reaction time, i tried holding down diff buttons etc but it doesnt work,
and, i tried going to video mode but well, that didnt work,

ok, so ive been doing some reasearch and some talking to some people who ik who shoot,
good light, LOW ISO, high shutter speed
bad light, HIGH ISO (not high like 800 or 1600 so its not grainy) and high shutter speed with flash?
and yes, i thought the d3000 can shoot video?
no its not a d3100
i want to get a new lense, with more zoom, a wide angle too.
