It's not awkward at all, I guess. I've watched in groups of couple people a few times just blazing up and watching two girls macking it, it's pretty damn good and creates a nice athmosphere, not awkward.

My university has a porn class. The warning from the course description:

'This course will be showing explicit pornographic material every week in both the screenings and lectures. Some of this material could be deemed disturbing or offensive, as it will include graphic sexual content and may also include scenes of graphic violence, substance abuse, or other potentially objectionable activities. However, given the subject matter of this course, there will be no exemptions from any aspect of the course requirements. Students are expected to attend all screenings and lectures and to participate fully in class discussions.'

I think it would be pretty fucking weird to watch porn in a lecture hall with all the other kids. Plus getting marked on it.

I used to live in a house with a bunch of guys and it was on a lot. Not like, people sitting in the living room jerking off, that WOULD be awkward, but you'd get home and it's be like oh look at the boobs. It wasn't weird, it was kind of just background noise I guess. Ski movies and nature shows were also on a whole lot. It didn't bother me at all, most of the time I'd just be like "Huh...that doesn't look very comfortable" or whatever. Porn is mildly entertaining in that way. The guys would critique things like which girl is the hottest. Pretty standard I think.

As for watching it to actually get off, I wouldn't do that in a group but would with a boyfriend.

one time late at night during finals week a group of like 4 guys, myself included, were watching some raunchy porn on our flat screen mostly just for the humor of it. but while we were watching it a group of people came in the room and we decided to leave it on mostly for shock value, but no one really said anything so it stayed on. and over the next 30 minutes people more trickled into the dorm room. by the time the movie ended there were like 13 kids, guys and girls, in the room silently watching and critiquing the film. im not sure whether or not to think if it was wierd
