just evenly run the skis around the edge making sure to keep it at a steady angle and filed the same amount all the way around the ski. If possible, I would recommend taking the ski out then filing a little then taking it for a run etc etc...
If you're detuning underfoot for rails, gummi stones wont cut it. You're trying to round the edge, not cut a 45 degree in there, just examine the edge every few passes and go slow.
I jus took a screwdriver shaft @ a 45 for a slight detune in my edges, it seemed to help to an extent...never used a file, but riding rails and ice will detune them in no time ontop of that.
thanks guys. ill just go a little at a time and see how it works out. i dont honestly care about the warranty since they are park skis and hitting rails is gunna void it anyways.
