It would be cool if you could get notifications for the threads you made/commented in. Like a number of how many of your threads have been posted in each time you login. hope this isn't a repost

another thing i was thinking like you could see this right now but you probly wont cause eheath shot down the idea of having notifications

Threads that have been posted in since you last logged on are in black in your threads (not posted in are in blue), that's your notification. As far as getting notification every single time someone quoted you, well, that would get annoying. Most frequently check threads to see their development, so they'll see if they've been quoted.
These are just minor things I don't think will happen because NS admin has a lot more on their plate right now, and everything has its importance, and this would fall low on the list and take its time getting done.
