Is it normal that i got space between my shin and the liner of the boot when they are buckeled?

Yeah I usually have a little gap. If I spend time doing my boots up properly they're usually pretty snug. I never get shinbang either way though

i've got a little space, and i had mine heat molded too. i haven't got any shinbang, or any boot problems at all so far this year. full tilts really are ill. i think i have a space just because i've got skinny legs. if you do too thats probably why.

and i love how whenever there is a boot related question everyone just yells out 'go to a boot fitter!!' 'get the boots that fit you!' haha its like we all just put a blind fold on, got piss drunk and walked into a ski swap and grabbed the first pair we could find in our blind, drunken stumble.

but a fitter really does help

boots that fit prevent shinbang. that being said, i shortened the top cable on my fts, crank em down real tight and have never gotten shinbang

on my nordicas i have about an inch of gap and i dont get shin bang.. its wierd.

Could you go into detail on how exactly you shortened the cable? Did you just buy a shorter one from FT? Because I already have the shortest cable, on the shortest hook in the cuff, buckles cranked all the way. The fit is good, but it would be nice to be able to go tighter if I wanted.

i always tighten the bottom cables quite a bit, and have the top one pretty loose and they're really comfortable and I don't really get shinbang.
