I just found out I have part of next week off and I was thinking about heading over. What's it like right now? I know it's a little cooler than normal. How is the public park?

Like roughly how big? Also how diificult is it to sneak into camp parks? I know lots of people who do that.

well camp parks are still being built but the public park is like 15- 30ft tables (maybe)

as of saturday the biggest jump was 20 feet
there were 3 beginner rales

I don't know I'm pretty good at hiding it. Most people don't realize until they see me skiing out of the park. Oh well it's worth a shot.

it was really nice when i was there.. the bigger jumps.. were 20 -35... but you vcould go hit the windels.. 40 footers.. and the pipe was nice but short...

Whoa hoodratz is being nice to me I can't believe it. But no I haven't tried a nose press, maybe you were joking. I think it would be pretty damn hard in teles unless your skis were really soft and you had really stif springs in the bindings but I suppose you could do it. I played around with tail pressing cornices and natural stuff. It was fun.

I was at t-line yesterday and i had a blast, public pipe isn't that bad but be careful cuz park crew kicked me out for not having a pass, windells was great, but very busy.

^^^ agreed, the public park is alright, theres quite a few tables but there all pretty small. theres some shitty rails up too. The pub pipe is pretty nice but its really small, length wise.
you can always poach wendells camp too, i did but i eventually got kicked out.

First off how do you know what I would like or not like. I like well shape big tables and that's what Hood's known for. Secondly I'm from the northwest I know what the weather is like here. But it is suppose to be nice for the next week or so so I'm not too worried.

Andy, I'm not quite sure what you are saying. But contrary to popular belief I really like park skiing. Just not when there's powder around.

okay, i just talked to jim (hoodratz), he is up there right now...they are getting ready to put in a few more jibs and redo the existing jumps, but they still wont be that large, the large jumps are being built up in the camp lanes.


ill be super rich and own mt.hood and let everybody from ns ski for free... except freezed

we put in a flat box and flat up flat kinker.. theres 2 35 footers.. (yeah still small but go to windelss they have a 48 footer and a 58 footer, we got some new jibs and look for a huge ass s-rollercoaster in the next week or so... and the rainbow and two flats are up also...... there is a sick hip you can hit.... after all the jumpss you can either go strait and hit 2 more jumps,,, or you can take a left and you will see a dirty( yes dirt coulerd) hip.. haul balls and enjoy
