Even though I am from Denmark I would still say the Danish language sounds awfull aswell as German (which sounds pretty similar). I would much more likely prefer to speak English than Danish.

Well I'm just fucking with you, but as someone who has studied German for five years, Danish and Dutch sound very similar as in almost incomprehensible.

I don't know if you've heard any jokes about the Danish like "They speak like they got potatoes in their mouths" but that's basically what all the Swedes say, hehe. :)

Still, it's an intriguing language and I'd love to learn it, but the intonation is so different from norwegian and swedish that it's very hard.
