Marker squire warrenty

so ya i got squires and i hear the cheap and beak and what ever. so i was wondering if there is like a warrenty you can get on them so i don't have to buy brand new ones if they do break

i think marker has a one year warrenty but i would just buy them from backcountry... if they ever break send them back!

i have been reading reviews about the squire and i only hear bad things, that the break because they are kids bindings... or something.. but i am guessing its cause its made for a lighter person?? im just wondering what anyone thinks?  cause i am a 120 lb girl... i only need my din set at 8 and.. this binding is light as shit!! its either that or twice as heavy rossi free rides...  ill be using the skis that im mounting for pow

It totally depends on your skiing style, but i wouldn´t recommend squires to anyone.

For park or powder skiing I would never use squire's or griffon's. I use FKS on my park skis, and when I get powder skis, I'm putting STH 14 driver's on them.

If you didn't read my post correctly, I'll say it again.
Park skis - FKS
Soon to be pow skis - STH 14 driver.

I'd never use my FKS in powder. It's already a bitch to put in while im hiking, I don't need it to be in a foot of snow, thus putting STH 14 drivers on pow skis.

the squire is aimed at people just getting into park skiing. it was made to replace the M11.0Free binding.

the people that are gullible are people that believe a $200 binding will take big landings and lots of abuse. YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR!!!

I have the 2011 markert squires on my libtech jib nas and their finefor me, like i am 5.9 and weigh around 140.  The only thing that happened to me was the heel piece fell off while riding switch, but that was the techs fault.  One thing with these bindings the plastic is kinda crapp, they get chopped up pretty easily.

k... thats exactly what i needed to hear!  thanks ... ill be gettin the rossis cause i really dont need my bindings to break on my new skis... and plus i get really pissed when bindings down work right... especially in pow.... i dont wanna have to think about it on a pow day! :)

might I recommend sth12 drivers? the driver toe is all around superior to the px toe, and I find that salomon bindings have a much more "secure" feel to them when you click in

I know that, but did you not read what I posted?

I already have FKS on my park skis. It's already a bitch to click into when hiking. STH 14 driver's will be way better for powder skiing since they don't have a turnable heel thus easier to click into.

i have mine on my halos and they havent been scratched or busted or taken any noticable abuse at all and im 5'11 and 140 and have skied on them for 20 days out of the 22 ive gone up this season

I have the Armad ar7s and the squire bindings. Im 6 3 and 165 lbs and i've had no problem at all and ive skied 3 solid 10 hours day every weekend since opening as i have a cabin at the resort. Ive knuckled jumps and the squire are light as hell, I have noproblems with them at all.

marker squires are great bindings, no, they not for expert park skiers, but they hold up. I dont know why everybody is dissing them.

Exactly, your 13 and most likely don't ski that hard compared to some people on NS.

The squire is a shit binding directed at little kids who want a binding that looks cool and could not give a shit on how it preforms esentially.

How much do you weigh? I'm guessing about 120 pounds. Wait about a month or two when you learn some new things and you land switch and your heel piece rips out.
