To be honest the day I started using NS regularly, my grades all dropped at least 1 letter, and since that day 3 years ago I've never had good grades again. I think it's the biggest consumer of time in my life, but at the same time it provides so much information, a good place to sell/buy, and a lot of nice people. But academic wise it has taken me down the drain and I can't seem to fix it.

"Ban yourself" (i.e. ask a mod for a temp ban) when you need to sit down and do some work. If you can't tear yourself away to get work done, then make it so you can't sign on.

I have considered that, and it's a good idea and I may still do it, but the problem is I can still go on the site and look at stuff, just not post. I need to find a program that wont let me access certain websites.. like a parental control software hahaha

waste of time for sure. nsg is just a black hole that sucks in hours of my life. but it keeps me connected with skiing even when i cant be out there myself, gives me mad deals on gear (b/s/t), and keeps me entertained sometimes. my grades are fine though...

NS is the best thing since twin tip skis. I can hook up with some homies on ski trips, check up updates in the skiing world, watch vids and just shoot shit with NSG.
