im writing an essay for a grd 11 photo class. i need to pick a few photographers who have advanced photography. there are 3 time periods but i need help with finding a photographer who is not only a great photographer and has created some stunning works of art but has also advanced the world of photography. from 1837 to 1900 (his photos taken then) ive used google and looked at other galleries n shit, but id like some of your opinions. thanks

so you can suggest a name and reasons why. i just have to write a paragraph or whatever on him (but not 5 sentences... more like 500 words)
