FT PX18 for lesser DIN binding

Brand new PX 18 racing binding with wide brakes. I think they will be too much binding for what I need them for.
Will trade straight up for PX 15 (I think that is the next one down) same condition, same brakes (or I can keep my brakes and you can keep yours)
OR will trade for FKS/Pivot 12, 14, 15 DIN with wide brakes

WILL NOT TRADE FOR ANY OTHER BRANDS OR KINDS, AS THEY WILL NOT FIT THE TOE HOLES I AM RE-USING!

I want this done soon, so if anyone wants a higher DIN binding for not up charge let me know quick. I will need the new bindings by this weekend. So, lets get this done today!

If you change your min I have a pair of 14 din salomon binders I would trade you. Two mounts never hurts anything.

Its not so much the number of mounts, its the location of the mount. I don't want to drill in the same spot so close to other holes. Plus its easier on me to only have to drill new heel holes.

Aren't the minimum dins the same for the PX15 and PX18? (8-15 vs 8-18)?

Well shoot, I guess the 18s start at 10... my bad. I would trade you my PX15s if the 18s weren't 7 billion pounds...

Yeah it starts at 10 but since I wont have my DIN set higher than 13 or 14 tops, I dont really need an 18 DIN binding. So, Im looking to trade with someone who wants/needs the extra 3 DIN

Dude, Your DIN is too high. My friend Phil... who is 6-5 and 260lbs skis at 13.

Also, the point of an 18din binding is not to ski them at 18. I ski my 18din Mojos at 10. I could just as easily use a 15 din mojo, but I wanted more durability.

Dude I am 6'7" 220 and very aggressive, so I like my DIN around 12-13... More than that freaks me out with the problems I have brought upon some of my joints.

It is more durable, but it is also heavier. Also, I want my DIN right around the middle of the spring limits. So, 11-12 is in that range. I don't want to max it out, or have it on the loose end of the DIN. I know what I am doing with it. I want a PX 15 or FKS 155 or Pivot 14 and if someone wants a burly 18 DIN binding, I will trade so they can upgrade for no cost.

Dude having your DIN at the low end is just fine. You should just mount them up. Or try this thread at TGR. You will probably have better luck there, since the average Newschooler is still in the bowels of puberty.
