Hoodie Suggestions

Okay NS,

Given the option to add whatever you want to a hoodie (jacket or pullover, your choice) outside of design, what would it be? Examples are like variations of pockets, waterproofing, materials, length, zippers, hood design or anything else your mind can think of.

Good suggestions = +k

i like my first drop one with the zippered pockets, I have a line one that has the new "winter resistant" material that is also really warm and looks sick.

warm but not an oven
soft
tall but not stupid, can't look like a mushroom
slim. so many shirts, jackets, and hoodies are retardedly wide but NO ONE is that big
slimmer sleeves as well
pockets on the outside and 1 or 2 on the inside but they can't add any volume to the hoody like some pockets do. they can make the jacket puff out oddly
zipper needs to be firm but not impossible. so many zippers are either too weak or unzippable.
good size hood with a basic shape so you don't look like an idiot with it up, nothing goofy like the brim thing that's on my armada hoody
at least waterresistant enough to keep a decent amount of snow off just from like a fall in the park, a snowball or consistent snowfall

yeah, so the hood can fit over a helmet.

and a zipper from the neck to bottom of the hoodie (not the hood)

like a magnent on your back sewn into the sweater, and a magnent sewn into the back of the hood so the hood stays in place and doesnt get in your face when you spin

i really like when the neck is high, like a jacket. thats something jiberish does that i love.

i also love a pullover so much more than a zipped one. more comfortable, simpler, and no zipper-boners when you are sitting down

a bunch of random zippers in really wierd lozations that zip to nothing and then make it so tall that it drags on the ground like a gown, then add a huge ass hood that hangs halfway down your back. make an option to make it really really puffy too for extra padding, put wings under the armpits. that shit would sell out sooner than you could say spagetti

keep the designs/colorways simple. i always thought solid colors with a dash of one or two other solid colors looks amazing. like a black hoodie with light blue ripping and lining or something

i'd like to see a quarter zip, but with buttons rather than a zipper.
Slightly oversized hood. Big enough to wear a hat under and still have room.
thumbholes on the cuffs
kangaroo pocket with zippers
inside breast pocket with a button.
as big as a 2x tall tee (about 33 inches, 34 in back)
on the opposite side as the inside breast pocket, an out side zip pocket (napoleon placement)

that's about it.

what i did for my home made hoodie, was put a smaller pocket inside the main one made of a spandexy material that zips closed, and use a button holer to make a hole on the inside for a cord. an awesome idea would be too add little loops on the inside too weave the cord through so it dosent get tangled

i had a hoodie a while back that had a stash pocket in the seam of the arm, like in the armpit. i thought it was really cool. i had a nomis one that has it too but it's way more obvious. i think those are really cool. and maybe the pockets could be fleece lined, to be all toasty warm. someone probably already said that though.

Tall slim.
34-38 inches tall.
Not wide.
A zipper pocket or two on the inside.
Non zipper pockets on the outside.
Warm.
Soft.
Machine washable and dry-able.
Doesn't have the fucking string things that you can pull to make the hood tighter. I've never seen a reason for those, and I hate them. I always pull them out of my hoodies.
Stretchy.
Cheap.
Sleeves that have a thumb hole at the end so I can make sure no snow gets in my gloves.
Good looking.
Like the saga jacket, has 3 buttons at the top like a polo so that I can make it breathe easier if it's a pull over.
Good color options.
Reversible, so that if I feel like it when I'm skiing, I can have zipper pockets on the outside.

Asymmetrical is really hot right now.  Bright colors are still popular in the ski community, especially contrasting ones...but the rest of the world has gone to more neutral, faded colors.  Simplicity is very popular, also a very natural, loose fitting style.  Like the bottom is not seemed and not necessarily completely straight.  V style necks are popular.  Zippers are played out now, buttons are definitly in style.  Umm, cut and sew is popular, like jiberish, different colored arms or different colored cuffs, different colored hoods.
