So i bought line invaders used with bindings that had already been remounted once, hoping the bindings would fit my boots. It ends up my boots are just too small for the bindings and I have tried to deal with it so far this season but I am getting sick of having my skis come off even when I land some tricks. And I cant even do blind switch ups without my skis coming off. Would it be possible to get another remount, making a 3rd set of holes in the skis? If possible, would it affect the pop and playfullness of the skis much? Or would a 3rd set of holes just ruin the skis? I need help and am open to suggestions.
It sounds like you do not know much about ski hardware, as you did not mention adjusting the heelpiece, or what kind of bindings they were to begin with.
soooo... Do like the MEGAZORD says and take it to a shop.
But assuming you know exactly how to adjust your bindings, and set the forward pressure, and you do end up having to remount. A third mount should not be too big of a deal, especially if you have to move them that much.
Awesome post. I think he was really hoping for you specifically to help him, it's good you let him know there was nothing you could do.
Listen to what was said before. Take it in to a shop, and if you absolutely can't at least post some up close pictures of the boot in the binding. Bindings run along tracks and they can be adjusted to a certain extent backwards and forwards. It's possible that they'll just have to make that adjustment and you'll be golden.
