For those of you who have not seen it, it is such an amazing movie. I was literally on the edge of my seat the entire time. If you have nothing to do this mlk weekend with all the holiday crowds at the mtns, rent this movie..i promise its worth it.
I thought the ending seemed kinda retarded. Parts look to be just pulled together for the sake of tieing it up. but it was decent. I wouldn't say great movie especially compared to all the great movies out this year
I went to the movie. I bought a ticket for the movie. I sat down in the movie theater. The movie started. I watched the movie. The movie ended. I stood up and said to myself like everyone else does "wow, great movie" then left.
Is this a joke thread? That movie was soooo brutal! It was almost a comedy the way the monologues went on...blah blah blah. "It all started when my mother..blah blah" REALLY? Two action scenes and a bunch of brutal acting. Note to self/others: don't watch movies that are acted in and/or directed by Ben Affleck.
The Town was a good movie, not one of the best of the year though. It was a good year for movies (probably the best of the decade...)
IMO best movies of the year are (in no particular order)...
Inception
Social Network
Black Swan
Toy Story 3
True Grit
The Fighter
The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (on Netflix Instant!!!!)
Exit Through The Gift Shop (just watched on Netflix Instant, amazing!!!!)
