K2 domains delamming

yep I bought them hoping they would last 2 seasons atleast but just after 8 days of skiing one ski started delamming and the other ski has cracks at the tip going thru the topsheet to the base.

I haven't hit anything with the tips first so the damage has to come from jumping or skiing slopes.

Should I be able to warrant my skis?

Possibly, have you hit any rails with them?

yep but only straight boxes, the eges are fine but the tips are just going crazy. The first 3 days of the skis were only boxes and the skis were alright since I always check for damage if I do rails. After that I only done jumps.

I'm not really sure, but its definetely worth a try. Some companies will warrenty pretty much anything, while others not so much. Did you buy them from a local shop or online? If you bought them from a shop I would bring them there and see if they can contact K2.

hit up the shop you got them at ASAP for a warranty. If they're delaming that quickly under normal use you'll get a new pair.

Take them to your local K2 dealer and they'll get you all squared away.

This is the damage. Yep rivets are in place but it doesnt stop the edge from delamming.

Just a quick Q if any K2 rep could answer. You are claiming 3.5mm thick edges but when I measure a piece of my edge that recently cracked they are precisely 2mm*2mm thick..!?

That's pretty cheap that you are using thinner edges than the "normal" 2.5mm..

3.5 MM EDGES
Most of our factory series skis come standard with a thicker more durable steel edge to prolong the life of the ski. Normal thickness of edges is around 2.5mm whereas the Factory Series skis’ use a 3.5mm edge to withstand the added abuse. This thicker edge is far more resistant to crackingand grinding for a more durable, longer lasting ski.
