Raichle Boots?

Hey guys,
I was in the market for new boots as it was and was interested in Full Tilts specifically. However, I don't have $400+ to spend on new boots so I dismissed the possibility of Full Tilts, even used. Today though, as I was on Craigslist, I noticed a pair of Raichle boots in my size. They look pretty nice and they're only asking $50. I was wondering if you guys new anything about them. I plan to be doing a majority of park (mostly jumps) and I would have a pair of backup boots. Do any of you know how Raichle boots are in terms of comfort/warmth/flexibility? Let me know what you guys think and thanks in advance.

they look decent, but my friend had the same idea you did and bought a pair that was shitty. I tried them on compared to my Full Tilts and the liner felt like paper and the whole boot in general was falling apart, so he ended up getting a pair of FT classics. But that ad for yours says excellent condition so I would go for it for only $50, just keep in mind they might not be completely 100% ideal

Yeah I just talked to the guy and he said he bought them in 93 and he rode them 20 times and only midwest. I think I'll go check them out. Worst case, could I just put a Full Tilt liner in them or would that not work/be sacrilegious? +K to you by the way.

You can just put a new Intuition liner in them. It seems that a few people here have done that.

Anyone know if all FT "Original" parts would be interchangeable? Also, what are the flexes like?

Well they essentially took the Raichle molds and createted Full Tilts, so I'm assuming there might not be a problem.

This. Along with maybe the boot board but either way you can buy these raichles, the new liners and the boards and spend below 200 for sure. But make sure the boot boards do come out.

the liners on those wont even be comparable to intuition liners. they'll be packed out and wont ever mold to your feet. liners only last about 100 days of riding. i wouldnt recommend getting them unless you're ready to drop another 175 or whatever they are on new liners.

I understand what you're saying, but when I talked to the guy, he said he skied <20 days and all midwest. Would I be able to get any life out of these liners? Or would I immediately have to buy Intuitions?

your intuition liners in a new full tilt will pack out too. if the shell fits, the boot will fit after the liners are packed out... duh.

raichles flex rating is different than the full tilts of now. so an 8 in raichle is not an exact 8 in full tilt.

last time I checked a full tilt flex rating is different then a full tilt flex rating. Meaning you can find two full tilt's that say 6, and they will be a different flex.

of course. why you would want to ski in the shitty piece of shit they call a ski boot is beyond me.

its true the hot doggers 6 is a softer 6 than the classics 6, its more of a 7. but there is a bigger and more apparent difference between old raichle flex and new full tilts.

i just baught a pair of raichles. there pretty nice, i baught new liners for them and had them heatmolded and i like them alot.
