Rapture?

I don't mean to get all biblical, but weren't Massive Floods/Global Catastrophes and Mass Rebellion among the early signs of The Rapture? If you don't know what I'm talking about, Read the News. (note: I did NOT say turn on the television aka the 4th branch of the Government)

Yeah... I don't mean to get all crazy here, but it was also written that if you find a cabin in the woods with three different sized bowls of oatmeal and three beds, you probably should get the fuck on out of there as it belongs to bears.

Thanks for the nice comments on my music choices.

As far as a "rapture" is concerned. Since you are referring to the "biblical" rapture I would say... Don't worry about that. There is such underwhelming evidence for really anything that the bible predicts / states. Remember 2000? Everyone was predicting the same thing. After 2012 comes by and passes [VERY VERY good chance all goes as normal] people will start looking for another date to fear. Likely the astroid / comet that's supposed to get VERY close to the earth around 2028.

Really people will make loads of broad, over generalized predictions. The ones that are slightly right, those people will remind you of how they were right, but all those times they were wrong will suddenly be forgotten.

Just trying to look at this logically.

Floods happen all the time. So do earthquakes. Unfortunately all the neurotic people at this time are attributing it to something an ancient civilization or the bible predicts.

I mean... It isn't completely out of the question. But there is a chance Santa exists too... Just very, very, very, very unlikely.

Just my opinion.

Thank You for your thoughts Sergeant, they hold equal weight to my own on the grander scale. I would like to point out that I do not hold a firm belief in anything besides Love, and was merely posing food for thought.
      I agree entirely about the 20/20 hindsight principle, though. People enjoy taking credit where none is due, and it is a commonality among humanity to congratulate false prophets who were only partially right out of mere coincidence. Well Spoken.
