i've seen a bunch of kids try switch 1s and get really off-balanced. i think i know your problem.
my guess is that you're leaning far towards the front of your skis (it's natural to do this when riding switch) so when you start to spin off the jump your body starts to go horizontal.
just keep your weight centered over your feet before you hit the jump and make sure you aren't leaning to far forward... try my advice and tell me how it goes
