he's not mentioned by name but the article, "Close Quarters" by Kimberly Beekman in the January issue of SKI Magazine is about her trip to Island Lake Lodge when she randomly met and skied with my dad and his friends who all go on a big ski trip every year. A bit of a claim, but I thought it was pretty cool that a man from the suburbs of Washington D.C. is semi mentioned in one of the biggest skiing magazines

My Dad was in the world cup for downhill racing and while on tv had a ski pop off and he span around on his knee 720 degrees which shot cartilaadge out of his ski. i will search for the video. his leg had exploded open before he hit the ground.
