hey im thinking about buying the armada jj's but i dont have any experience w/ armada and if there just all hype. if anyone can comment on their experience w/ them and wat kind of company armada is that'd be great
ive never had a pair but ive been checking out armadas ever since they first came out and honestly i cant think of a single bad thing ive heard, mostly rave reviews left and right
i know that's second hand information and all but yeah.. and i'm about to get a pair and i buy skis about once every 5 years
You will probably get more serious answers in gear talk. But, I have JJs and love them. They are stiff enough to charge big lines but still playful and you can still carve pretty well on groomers. Great ski IMO
Hey dude,
I own a pair of last years JJ's- they are really cool and i love them. Coming from New Zealand I bought them thinking that they have a really good edge and would hold on the ice and hardpack that we get. Ive skied lots of pow days with them and they are stable and solid as a rock, BUT i do not reccommend them for hardpack, soft groomers maybe. I bought a pair of ARVs for the hardpack so the jjs only come out on pow days but nevertheless i still love them in the pow.
I have halos in 176 and they are the shit.
Stiff enough for confident jumping, but playful with the rocker.
I've only had them for a few weeks but the durability seems pretty bomber from what i've heard. Wish they didn't chip as much, but that happens with pretty much all skis
hop on them, you won't regret it
