Im 5'9'' and I recently purchased a pair of 174 rossignol s4 jibs. They are about as tall as me. IS that too big? I mainly ski rails and it seems that rossignol sizing is alot bigger then line sizing cause i had 177 lines and they went up to my nose.
Yeah i know ill be fine riding wise, but when it comes to harder rail tricks like lip twos i'm wondering if the extra length will mess me up cause i don't wanna have to worry about clipping my nose or tails on the rail.
Sorry my iphone is a dick, i like to have 175 cm ski in the park and ita good for groomers too. For pow 175 is short but im ini whit it. Its better longer than shorter imo
you guys do realize that height has nothing to do with ski lenght right?? how tall you are does not affect how you flex a ski..... i weigh 165 and ski 195s.
Um YEAH it does!!! Weight AND height are TWO distributing factors. A 6'0" guy who weighs 145 pounds is going to distribute his weight COMPLETELY different than a 5'4" guy who weighs 145.
It also matters where you skis and your level of skiing.
im 5'4" and i just bought 171 thalls, and ive also got 163 sugar daddies, 169 obsetheds (really like 173), and 175 chopsticks that i should have gotten in a 185
