Stupid question about boots and bindings

Sorry if this is a retarded question, but I live in Georgia and never get to ski, haha.

If a binding is set to fit one boot size (like 29.5) for a particular boot will all other 29.5 size boots fit into that binding? Do all bindings have some degree of adjustability to them for boot sizes, even ones that are mounted flat to the ski?

Not all 29.5 boots have the same boot sole length (bsl), which is what determines if it will fit or not

And yes, bindings are adjustable to different sized boots, although I'm not sure how much room there is for adjustment on bindings like the FKS...
