Ok im just going to come out and say it. You may call me a poser or a wana be. The truth is im 14 years old and Ive never done a 360. I expect to see a whole bunch on negative comments but i dont care, ill pick out the good ones. what im asking for is how i can summon the balls to try a trick. Ive done a 180 but whenever im dropping in ready to try it i always puss. Anyone have any advice? Not on just 360's but new tricks in genreal.
I wrecked myself pretty bad about 7 years ago trying a 360, when I was like 13, and have been suppperrr hesitant to try a 3 since then. I stomp 180's all day, but to date I still havent thrown and landed a 3. I have been trying flat-land 360's a bit trying to get the spin down, since I have wanted that 360 for so long, but I am only able to get about 270 degrees of rotation without a booter. THIS season I will get it.
when i learned 3s i had spent the whole month before pussying out everytime at the very last second and would just straight air or 180. one day with some friends we were lapping a really small table that only kicked a couple feet of vertical at most. they started spinning 3s off of it and they didn't know i couldn't do them. when it came to my turn, i couldn't pussy out in front of them so i just whipped it and looked over my shoulder until i saw the landing at 270 and put it down like i knew what i was doing. if you can jump off the ground in shoes and spin a 360, you can do it on skis. you don't really hear about too many people injuring themselves for life on the little jumps, just wear a helmet and go for it! you will wonder why you didn't learn them earlier after the first one
