i always seem to somehow injure my thumbs when i ski. does this happen to anyone else?

you jam it when falling correct, it is called skiers thumb, it just happens don't put your hands out when you fall

Are you new to skiing? I've always found that proper falling becomes kinda instinctual after time. Fall with your hands clenched in a fist. and whatever you do don't put your hands behind you to brace your fall.

i have been skiing since i was 2 and have known proper falling technique for a while. but sometimes my thumbs seem to get twisted around my poles
