well...the photo is not to scale, it is larger, so it may just look a lot bigger to you than it is. For some reason when you put a pic in the post it gives you handles to resize but any resizing you do isn't reflected once you actually post, so it didn't make it smaller. I haven't read this since I posted, but get married on a mountain. Be like Dave Treadway and his wife Tessa, and go get married up in Alaska (I think, or somewhere amazing like that)

well we just got engaged, so I've been wearing it everyday.

But I'll probably just wear the wedding band (either plain white gold band, or band with diamonds) after we get married and the engagement ring for going out and stuff. I understand that it's certainly not practical to wear while skiing/gardening/making wax hands at the fair.

no, I'm sorry I didn't respond but I did click on your link and I looked at those photos-- pretty awesome-- didn't see that the link was also kicking horse though. Alaska is another good idea-- but would like for people to be able to get there without flying-- any other locations you can think of that are within driving range of the Seattle area? I've been to Lake Louise/Banff and thought that would be cool too.

It's alright.

You can have the amazingly beautifuly cliche wedding at Lake Louise, it's where my parents got married. Right up on the Lake during winter. The things postcards are made of.

kind of a ways off-- spring of 2012-- don't have an exact date yet but will hopefully book a venue here before too long.

no idea who you two guys are, but congrats regardless, it must be a very exciting time for you both. That ring is massive! I should really know more about diamonds then I do, my grandpa was a jeweller and owned a jewelry store for many many years, and my parents owned one for a while too when I was a little younger. I always had an eye for watches not so much rings
