Some of you might remember my solo song i posted a few months back called Scars. Welp this is quite a bit different. We were aiming for a dope party track. Two of my friends take the first to verses and I take the last. Lemme know what you think!

The rapping was cool... The rest fucking sucked.

All the YEA! and shit at the beginning was super fucking annoying, and the instrumental with all the drakeish sounds...
well...
I am disappoint.

Honestly, I just didn't like that. I wouldn't listen to it.
And if I did I'd probably turn it way the fuck down so people who can hear it don't think I'm some sorta Harley owner.

You sound like some mainstream sellout rapper. There's so many people with basically the exact same song as yours. Why would I want to listen to it?

no negative karma my dude. Too each his own. Some people like mainstream sounding stuff some don't. The concept of the song was to be a catchy party song college kids might like. so i can understand how some people could be turned off by it.

as for the shout outs in the begining I gotta agree. When I left after my recording the kid that did the second verse (the one that makes no sense) added all those f bombs in the begining about nothing. I personally don't say anything in my verses i wouldn't do in real life. Unfortunately its not the same for this kid who often speaks about choking cunts and doing coke and random shit. acting way more black than he is. but he is my friend and I did ask him to write to the beat. I appreciate the input though. If you like more the underground feel/story tell vibe you might like my other solo song better. check that out. I'm interested to hear your feed back on that one as well.

The rapping was fine in this. The sample seemed to work, but the chorus seemed a bit... auto tuney, idk what it was, but I didn't care for it. The first rap verse sounded sorta like classified. Which is a compliment, classified is dope.

Props on actually looking for constructive criticism.

I'll be honest, I definitely was not expecting this response from you after listening to the first track.

haha yeah. well I try to learn and improve.

I've gotten previous feed back that the chorus didn't really fit with the verses. I think what you're hearing and not liking is the reverb and chorus effects. I added a very little auto correction to fix my shitty voice but thats barely audible.

Tried to switch it up for more of a party song for this most recent one cause that's more me. Love dancing and a beat you jsut want to bounce to so I wanted people to catch that same vibe. I'm getting mixed reviews back so I dunno I'll have to go back in a month or two once its not so familiar and see what could be learned or changed.

I appreciate you taking the time to listen to it man and respond with criticism in a respectful way. thank you.
