Hs freshman dating college freshman okay?

What do all of you think of this? Okay or not? Cause the college guy is a friend and i think its just wrong, but most of friends think its not that bad. She doing it behind her parents back even when they said shes not aloud to date him and i believe its against the law too? When your older like 30 and dating a 26 years old i can see it being okay, but really this young just seems wrong to me. What do you have to say about it?

It really depends on the people I think. She seems too young for him, but she may be mature. My boyfriend graduated college in May and I'm a senior in high school. We're 4 years apart. He's 22 and I'm 18.

It depends on the people. Maturity has a lot to do whether its ok or not, but it's still kinda fucked up. It's not as bad as my 15 year old friend dating a 22 year old though. They're happy, so I don't really care too much.

At that age, not ok. Later in life, completely acceptable. That's the age difference between my girl and I, but we didn't meet until I was 26 & in grad school and she was a 22 year old senior in college. Or maybe I was 25 and she was 21....either way....different ball game.

Not only is what he doing now morally wrong, it's also illegal. (Assuming that they sleep together as that's what happens in all relationships, right? And they're not from some fucked up state like Kentucky or something.)

that's really fucked up. Theres such a big amount of maturing that goes on over high school into your first year of college. I grew up so much my freshman year of college, and learned a lot of life lessons. This kid is most likely living a completely different life than the girl. A freshman in high school is practically the same thing as an 8th grader as much as you don't like to think it at the time. They still obviously live with their parents, and even though they think they might be mature, they really aren't, whereas a freshman in college is starting to become more independent and figuring out who they really are, and maybe even living on their own.
It's way different when you are older obviously. I'm 20 and my boyfriend is 24, but I live on my own, pay my own bills, etc and have a pretty solid idea of what exactly I'm doing with my life. So much growing up takes place from the freshman in high school to freshman in college time frame

Well an age difference of 7 years isn't the problem. No one would care if X person were 30 and Y person was 37, it is the fact she is 14 and he is 21; the "development" she is experiencing, the development any person of her age is experiencing in those early years which makes it inappropriate.

I would just like to point out that no one has actually presented a moral about this issue yet. By what means would you decide if someone is to young? and what is the reasoning behind that? Is age not just a number. Obviously people mature as they get older, but when you are questioning maturity

UGH it all just seems very hard to quantify
