Hs freshman dating college freshman okay?

What do all of you think of this? Okay or not? Cause the college guy is a friend and i think its just wrong, but most of friends think its not that bad. She doing it behind her parents back even when they said shes not aloud to date him and i believe its against the law too? When your older like 30 and dating a 26 years old i can see it being okay, but really this young just seems wrong to me. What do you have to say about it?

meh im kinda unsure about this. i mean its legal if they are 4 years apart, and the law even says thats ok. there are so many things that perfectly fine to do that are against the law.
but really, why cant he find someone closer to his own age? dating a hs chick while hes in college seems like a pain.
ive got a friend who's super critical about people of different ages dating. like 1 year difference is bad, 2 years is straight up wrong in his opinion. ive got friends like 4 years younger and 4 years older than me and he thinks its a looser thing to do to not just have friends your same age. and its annoying as hell to listen to him. I mean i think it worse to not date someone that you love purely based on age difference.

so i dunno, if he really really loves her then id say its more ok, if shes more of just some fuck buddy then id say he needs to find someone else.
4 years is pretty much the limit imo, 5 maybe depending on the circumstances. unless of course your like over 30, then u can date people like 10 years apart and nobody cares

When I was freshman in HS my boyfriend was a senior in HS (i know it's not exactly the same as op friend's situation) and at the time I didn't think it was weird. It obviously wasn't legal during most of our relationship as I was with him 4 years or so. He aslo wan't very mature at all, which I think is the bottom line with most of these relationships that involve a very young person and someone who socially is looked at as being too old to be with them. If this guy acts like he is 14-15 it doesn't come as a surprise that he would go for a youngin. If he is just doing it to get some fresh putang that that's gross.

Even though I used to be in a similar situation, I who have to agree with most ofthe other replys - probably not ok

I remember some kid who was 21 and dating a 12-year-old when I was graduating junior high, it was actually pretty fucked. Yeah... He had a car... And tinted windows. Dice in the mirror? That counted as automatic pussy magnet in here back then.

But now, I think it's fucked that I've fucked some who were younger than, for example, one of my exs' younger sisters.

OP, i think thats a bit of a stretch. last year there was a freshman girl dating a senior at my school and most people thought it was weird he would date someone that much younger.

and ive always wondered, if your 18, can you date someone thats 17 or 16? or is that still illegal even though its only a 1-2 year age difference
