Sd card help

i erased all of my video off of my sd card but for some reason when i try to put it back into the camera it says check card?
Ive already tried to go to disk utility (I have a mac) and repair erase the card from there, it failed once again.

when you delete things from a flash drive on a mac, you have to empty the recycle bin or the storage space stays full even though nothing is there. It's a glitch.

Just put the card in your camera and format it, boom done.
