127 Hours, Black Swan and Inception should be fighting for the top spot. Some of the best films I have seen in a long time. The full cast of Black Swan was phenomenal not to mention the cinematography and story.

James Franco strait murdered it in 127 Hours, reaffirming why he is one of my favorite male actors in the business right now. I really enjoyed the cinematography and editing in the film as well.

Inception was also an outstanding film, I feel like a lot of voters are going to either forget about it or not put it high enough dude to it coming out so early in the year.

It's going to be fun to see who wins the awards this year. Natalie Portman for best actress, I think so.

my dad was selected to be part of The Academy after winning Sundance in the 80s.... then you're in for life unless you pull a Larry David and fuck up. He doesn't have the time to do this so I am just doing him a favor, so you don't have to lose faith... haha


Haven't seen Black Swan yet heard it's dope though, might peep it tomorrow its playin down the street

Wait so were you selected to just vote? Or were you invited to actually go? Either way, thats dope.

I loved Inception, heard black swan (seeing soon) was awesome, along with 127 hours.Toy Story 3 was good. The social network was good. And the kings speech is supposed to be amazing.

I thought "The Fighter" was much better than true grit. I havn't seen 127hours later but fighter top 2....mark my words, christian bale wins best supporting actor. (unless the girl from true grit is considered supporting, she killed it)

both... academy awards aren't that baller, Cannes and other spots are way iller.... but word, still haven't seen black swan yet, I still have to. but word. It doesn't have to be the most mainstream movies released in the past year... but Ballot has been sent out. I appreciate all the added input - you actually made a small impact. don't remember when NS turned into hate fest 11' but.... probably when we went over like 120,00 members.  I remember back in the day, 2 kids were talking shit to each other, found out they went to the same school and settled it. that that was golden and how it should be.
