Rodeos confuse me...

so i really need to learn rodeo but i cant bring them around properly. people are telling me to throw flat 5? but thats not really rodeo. i need some help.

thrown more back than a flatspin, flats are much easier for me at least. Get them on a tramp, then progress to snow is all i can say! or just huck it on a slushy day

cause alot of rodeos look like a backflip lincon but i cant get he lincon part rihgt and it just doesnt come around. how do most people throw them?

I personally thrown rodeos like a lincoln to a 180 whether that be the textbook definition or not
However, I throw them like a lincoln and then at like 270 in the flip I look back at the lip for the 180

more like a flippier flat
but i tend to stick to the flats and dont throw many rodeos/ they're kind sorta the same thing

Throw a backflip and drop the shoulder on the side you want to initiate the axis on and it'll just happen. Reach for the back of your inside ski with your inside arm.

Exactly. People concentrate to much on the rotation aspect than the flipping. By dropping the shoulder your initiating the spin, so all you have to worry about is the flip.

oohh. aihgt so where does the loncon fit into that? or does it just happen cause of the dropped shoulder i guess..
