I was trying to ride on the noses of my skis the other day backwards (with my skis perpendicular to the ground) and my skis popped off. My bindings DIN level is at 6 right now and I want to make it higher. I know you have to use a flathead screwdriver to change the DIN level of the bindings but I think I might mess up the bindings. How can I change the DIN level of my bindings without fuckin them up?
i hate to be that guy but i didnt realize how many skiers didnt know how to tighten up their din...if you take it to a shop thats some easy money for the shop. Its a really, really simple process, and anyone can do it unless you lack the ability to turn one screw a few times
take a screw drive and turn at each toepeice and heelpeice so they are all the same(atleast the toe peice the same as other toepeice, etc) just make sure they are the same(and dont be a dumbass and put them rediculously high)
This. More factors than just your DIN setting are keeping you from popping out. And while yes, the actual physical process of changing your DIN is easy it doesn't mean that you should do it. Take them to a shop before you hurt yourself.
1. go get a screwdriver. 2. examin your bindings. 3. screw the din screw in ur bindins that makes the din go up and down. 4.repeat in the back part of binding
5. go ski.
dont go up to much at once because you could get hurt.
