"Leo Messi is the winner of the 2010 FIFA Ballon D’Oro after taking the trophy for the second year on the run. Messi won 22,65% of the votes, ahead of teammates Andrés Iniesta (17,36%) and Xavi Hernández (16,48%).
La Masia has its second Ballon D’Oro and so does Leo Messi . The Argentinean picked up the award, given by FIFA and the France Football magazine this evening in Zurich after his boss Pep Guardiol announced “Ladies and gentleman, the winner is... Lionel Messi!”, confirmation, if needed that Messi is simply the best – something Xavi and Iniesta both admitted before the ceremony."
I am super pumped about this, I have been a Barcelona fan since 2006 and Messi is one of the best players around the world. Congrats to him, he deserves this award more than alot of people.
