SPKs are wider than FTs so it depends on what foot type you have. but go to a shop and try them on

It depends totally on the shape of your foot. Spks are better for wider feet and FT's are better for thinner feet.

I have the saloman SPK pro model and their the most comfortable boot that I have ever owned when their on.  The only thing is they are really hard to get on.
