7d/compact flash to FCE?

hey ns, im tryin to get some video from my friends compact flash card but i have no idea how to do it. is there any special way i need to capture/import or any special settings? help me out please and thank you!

You can connect your camera to your computer via the USB cable that comes with it. Open EOS Utility and then you can download the clips.

Or, if you have a CF Card Reader, plug that beast in, open up FC and you should be able to download and convert straight to Pro Res in Log & Transfer.
